Who Is LFVR?

LFVR is the culmination of what I have learned throughout a lifetime of being surrounded by Optician’s.

My name is Travis LeFevre and I have been around the Optical industry for my entire life. From day one I had always been curious about what goes into a frame and how it’s made. But I found out like many before me, that it’s a hard subject to learn much about in the U.S. So over much of the last 10 years I’ve evolved from loving mass produced big box brands, to discovering small independent lines that are truly handmade and crafted in small batches, to where I am now creating my own lines and handcrafting custom eyewear for people all around the world.

Outside of making frames and developing new designs, I also own and run an Optical in Northern Utah. I’m an ABO-AC Certified Optician and understand both the style side as well as the fit and function relationship a frame must have with prescription lenses and each unique client. I also assist other independent opticals in developing their own brands with low minimums, and allow them to create their own eyewear line that is made by myself personally and allows them to get away from selling brands that are owned by companies directly competing against independent opticals.
